ABOUT US

Project Homerun is an annual fund-raising campaign that Trinity Lutheran Church softball team started in the Spring of 2017, with a non-profit charity/organization being chosen each year.

"Honestly, the idea was without a doubt a God thing. I was reflecting on how the church team had become just a group of guys getting together for softball but not growing or doing anything more. So I started praying that God take the 2017 season and make it a difference maker in the lives of the players...little did I know that God would continue to put it on my heart that perhaps the way to make a difference in their lives, was to make a difference in the lives of others. It would be a January morning, little past midnight, I would wake up and write the words Project Homerun down...

and the rest as they say is history."

-Ty Miller (Coach/Founder of Project Homerun)

That first year Ty thought if they could raise $20/HR pledged, he'd chalk it up as an immense success...that goal was quickly shattered and the team would go on to break $50/HR before year's end.

With each year the campaign pushes goals further and prays the community responds!

In the five campaigns Project Homerun has raised just over $50,000 total for local non-profits.
